Rates on ObamaCare’s benchmark Silver plans could drop for the first time since the health insurance marketplace opened open back in 2014.
That said, it isn’t all good news. This is a drop compared to steep increases. Benchmark plans, the plans subsidies are based on, are up 37% this year, meanwhile next year the projected drop is 2%.
Still, this is generally good news and it shows that the Affordable Care Act is working under Trump despite the changes.
